Test Mode and Test Transactions - Blackberry

To enter Test Mode and run test transactions through MerchantWARE Mobile on your Blackberry device, follow the steps below.

To turn on Test mode

1. From the Main Menu screen select the 'Settings' option
2. Check the Test Mode checkbox W
3. hen prompted to confirm that you wan to use the device in test mode press 'OK'
4. Click 'Save'

To run a Test Swiped Transaction

1. From the Main Menu, click the 'Process Sale' button
2. Select 'Swiped Sale'. Note: You will need to have a Bluetooth card reader configured for this type of transaction
3. When your device displays "Initializing card reader", power on your Bluetooth card reader.
   Note: If you receive an error that the card reader could not be initialized, turn off the reader, click "Read Card" and turn on the card reader again
4. Once the card reader is initialized you will be prompted to swipe a card. Once the card is read successfully you will see the last 4 digits of the card number in the card ending field
5. Enter amount (required) and the order number (optional)
6. Click the "Swiped Sale" button \
7. A transaction result will be displayed with an 'Approved' or 'Declined' message and transaction details
